Strangely, I didn’t hunt for cupcakes on both my Portland and Tokyo trip and instead craved for piping hot chocolate. It’s a very strange craving to have during the heat of summer but heck, it’s chocolate. And good hot chocolate is always comforting regardless of the weather.

I didn’t sample the chocolates at Cacao but the hot chocolate is a definite winner. Thick, milky with bittersweet tones, not overly sweet. Anyone has a good hot chocolate recipe to share?
